Anton Lukas

Born in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz. Studied graphics, design and interior architecture at Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences followed by a postgraduate degree in costume and set design at Technische Universität Berlin. Freelance set and costume designer since 2002. Set and costume designs for productions at Theater Konstanz, Theater Aachen and Theater Hof as well as for independent theatre companies. Costume and set designer for Milo Rau and his International Institute of Political Murder since 2009 where he has created designs for television and film productions – most recently »Das neue Evangelium« in 2020 – as well as for exhibitions and theatre productions including »Everywoman« for the Salzburg Festival/Schaubühne and »La Clemenza di Tito« for the Grand Théâtre de Genéve (2021) and »Wilhelm Tell« at the Schauspielhaus Zurich (2022).
