Maria Anderski

Grown up in Düsseldorf and Paraguay. Studied costume design at the Akademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Maastricht and at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. From 2008–11 assistant costume designer at the Schauspiel Hannover. There, she designed costumes for the productions »Clavigo« (Direction: Florian Fiedler, 2011), »Das blaue blaue Meer« by Nis-Momme Stockmann (Direction: Serkan Salihoglu, 2011), »Die Geschichte meiner Einschätzung am Anfang des dritten Jahrtausends« by PeterLicht (Direction: Jakob Weiss, 2011), »Delhi, ein Tanz« by Iwan Wyrypajew (Direction: Jakob Weiss, 2012) and »Fatima« by Atiha Sen Gupta (Direction: Mina Salehpour, 2011). Her costumes for »Fatima« were awarded the Nachwuchspreis der Freunde des Schauspielhauses.
Regular collaborations with director Mina Salehpour, among others for »Monster« by David Greig (2012), »Peter Pan« after James Matthew Barrie (2012), »Everything Is Illuminated«, an adaptation oft he novel by Jonathan Safran Foer, (2015) and »Mein Kampf« by George Tabori (2015) at the Schauspiel Hannover as well as for »Montecore: The Silence of the Tiger« (2013) and »Apathy for Beginners« (2013) by Jonas Hassen Khemiri and also »das Ding« by Phillip Löhle (2014) at the Staatstheater Braunschweig. She also developed costume and stage design for the productions »The Burrow« (Direction: Nora Hecker, Schauspiel Hannover, 2009), »Montecore: The Silence of the Tiger« (Direction: Mina Salehpour, Staatstheater Braunschweig, 2013) and »Traurigkeit und Melancholie« by Bonn Park (Direction: Mina Salehpour, Theater Bonn, 2015)
