Mascha Mazur

Born in Wroclaw. Studied stage design at Akademie für bildende Künste in Wien from 1998 to 2002; then assistences at Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz under Christoph Schlingensief. Regular works for Hebbel am Ufer/HAU, such as »100 Prozent Berlin« (2008) by Rimini Protokoll, which was also invited to Wiener Festspiele and tours globally. Her lastest cooperation with Rimini Protokoll »Chinchilla Arschloch, waswas. Nachrichten aus dem Zwischenhirn« premiered in 2019 at the Schauspiel Frankfurt. Numerous works for productions by Patrick Wengenroth. Works at Stary Teatr in Cracow with director Wojtek Klemm, e. g. in »Der Brotladen« by Bertolt Brecht (2009) and » Anatomy Titus Fall of Rome« (2012) as well as stage designs for the independent opera productions by Susanne Oglænd, such as »Orfeo und Euridice« (Konzerthaus Berlin, 2007) by Christoph Willibald Gluck, and »Much Ado about Nothing« (direction: Lukas Langhoff, 2015) at Schauspielhaus Bochum. Other works for Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Münchner Kammerspiele, Luzerner Theater, das Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin and Schauspielhaus Graz. Stage designer for three touring stages of Marius Müller-Westernhagen.
