Am kommenden Sonntag, den 8. November nimmt die Schaubühne Abschied von Mitbegründer und Dramaturg Dieter Sturm, der im Juli nach langer schwerer Krankheit verstorben ist. Mit Freund_innen, Weggefährt_innen und Ensemblemitgliedern erinnern wir uns in einer Matinee an Dieter Sturm. Tickets Wir würdigen sein Leben und Wirken, seine große Neugier und sein leidenschaftliches Verständnis von Theater als gesellschaftlich relevante Kunst und nehmen gemeinsam Abschied von einem bedeutenden Theaterkünstler, dessen Arbeit die Schaubühne über Jahrzehnte geprägt hat. Season Campaign 2026/27 by TOILETPAPER
This season’s publicity campaign has been created by TOILETPAPER. Since 2010, Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari have been publishing the eponymous magazine which consists entirely of staged photographs. For the Schaubühne, they have put our ensemble centre stage, portraying each actor in a bespoke way. The backdrops and styling were realised by the Schaubühne’s production departments of set design, costumes, props and hair and makeup. You can find the pictures of the campaign in the season booklet of the Schaubühne (to be seen hier as PDF) and spread over the season as large billboards in the urban area of Berlin.
Renovation of Sanitary Facilities
We would like to inform you that, due to renovation work, the restrooms are currently located in temporary containers outside the Schaubühne. The way there is clearly signposted. The cloakroom remains in its usual location in the basement of the foyer. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
