Alessa Schmitz

Guest performer at the Schaubühne since 2019. Born in Rottweil, from 1999 to 2003 she studied dance at the Bern University of the Arts (formerly Bern Conservatory), acting at the European Film Actor School EFAS in Zurich and at the Michael Chekhov Studio of the Berlin University of the Arts. In addition to her work as a dancer for cabarets and television productions in Switzerland and France, she is also an actor in films including »Me, Myself and I« (1999, directed by Bettina Disler) and »Desire Will Set You Free« (2015, directed by Yony Leyser), and a voice artist.
