Falk Rockstroh

Born in 1958 in Schneeberg, Saxony. He studied acting at the »Hans Otto« Academy of Theater in Leipzig. He held engagements in Zwickau, Neustrelitz, and Halle. From 1997 to 1999, he was part of the ensemble at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, collaborating with Thomas Ostermeier on »Suzuki I and II« by Alexei Shipenko, »Mann ist Mann« by Bertolt Brecht, »Unter der Gürtellinie« by Richard Dresser, and »The Blue Bird« by Maurice Maeterlinck. From 1999 to 2006, he was a permanent member of the Schaubühne ensemble. From 2006, he appeared as a guest at Schauspiel Frankfurt and Deutsches Theater Berlin, before joining the Burgtheater Vienna ensemble permanently in 2010. In addition to his theater work, he regularly works as a voice actor and has appeared in numerous film and television productions. Falk Rockstroh is a member of the German Film Academy. From 2022 to 2025, he was a permanent ensemble member at the Thalia Theater Hamburg.
