Giacomo Gorini

Born in Italy. Studied classical music and electronics. Multiple collaborations with the theatre company Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, for »Tragedia Endogonidia« (Direction: Romeo Castellucci, Cesena et al 2002), »Hey Girl!« (Text and Direction: Romeo Castellucci, Théâtre National de l'Odéon 2006), »Inferno« inspired by Dante Alighieri (Direction: Romeo Castellucci, Festival d’Avignon 2008), »Sul concetto di volto nel Figlio di Dio« (Direction: Romeo Castellucci, Hebbel am Ufer Berlin et al 2010) and the opera »Parsifal« by Richard Wagner (Direction: Romeo Castellucci, Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie Bruxelles 2011), among others Furthermore, collaborations with Hans van den Broeck for »Messiah Run!« (Kunstencentrum Vooruit Gent 2012), »The Lee Ellroy Show« (Les Brigittines Brussels 2014) and »Mother Dog« (Stadsteater Göteborg 2018), with Guy Cassiers for »Orlando« (Toneelhuis 2013, selected for the Dutch Theatre Festival 2013) and »MCBTH« (Bourlaschouwburg, Antwerp), with the company Peeping Tom for »Vader« (Direction: Franck Chartier, Theater im Pfalzbau, Ludwigshafen 2014) and »Moeder« (Direction: Franck Chartier, Theater im Pfalzbau, Ludwigshafen 2016), and with performance artist Ivo Dimchev for »X-on« (2012, in collaboration with Franz West), »Fest« (2014), I-Cure (2014) and »Operville« (2016). Collaborations with Sanja Mitrović for the production »I Am Not Ashamed of My Communist Past« (Belgrade International Theatre Festival 2016) and most recently for »My Revolution is Better Than Yours« (2018, Nanterre-Amandiers).
