Annelies Vanlaere

Born 1976 in Tielt. Collaborations, among others, with Luc Perceval, Amélie Niermeyer, Frank Abt, Stephan Kimmig, Christine Eder, Alize Zandwijk, Henning Bock, Cornelia Crombholz, John Buijsman and Benedikt von Peter. Costume design for numerous productions, such as »Die Ehe des Herrn Mississippi« by Friedrich Dürrenmatt (Direction: Christine Eder, Thalia Theater, 2013), »Unterm Rad« based on the novel by Hermann Hesse (Direction: Frank Abt, Schauspiel Stuttgart, 2015) »Wer einmal aus dem Blechnapf frisst« based on the novel by Hans Fallada (Direction: Luc Perceval, Thalia Theater, 2017) and »Otello« by Giuseppe Verdi based on the play by William Shakespeare (Direction: Amélie Niermeyer, Bayerische Staatsoper, 2018). She worked at various theatres, e.g. at Schauspiel Köln, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Toneelgroep Amsterdam, Residenztheater München, Schauspiel Stuttgart, Schauspielhaus Graz, Volkstheater München, Komische Oper Berlin, and at the Ro Theater Rotterdam. Collaborations with director Lilja Rupprecht on a regular basis for productions such as »Mary Page Marlowe« by Tracy Letts (Schauspiel Köln, 2017), »Groß und klein« by Botho Strauß (Schauspiel Köln, 2016) and »Caligula« by Albert Camus (Volkstheater München, 2015).
