Ingi Bekk

Studied at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama London. After graduating, he has worked as a video and lighting designer for theatre, opera and music productions. Since 2013 he regularly works with Katie Mitchell, e. g. for »Sorrow Beyond Dreams« (Burgtheater Wien, 2013), »The Forbidden Zone« (Salzburger Festspiele, 2014) and »Reisende Auf Einem Bein« (Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, 2015). Furthermore, he collaborated with Simon McBurney in »The Magic Flute« (ENO, 2013), Sara Marti in »Wide Slumber and Breaking News« (VaVaVoom Theatre, 2014), Terry Gilliam in »Benvenuto Cellini« (ENO, 2014) and with Dennis Kelly in »Matthildur« by Roald Dahl (Borgarleikhúsið, 2019).
