Jule Böwe

Member of the Schaubühne ensemble since 1999. Born in Rostock. Trained and then worked as an occupational therapist including in a home for the disabled in the Lichtenberg district of Berlin. In 1994, state diploma in acting. Freelance actor at the Landestheater Parchim, Theaterhaus Jena and Theater Affekt, among others. In 1997/98, first collaboration with Thomas Ostermeier at the Deutsches Theater »Baracke« in Berlin. Engagements at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and the Deutsches Theater Berlin. Numerous roles in films and on television including in »Carlos« (2010, directed by Olivier Assayas), »Russendisko« (2012, directed by Oliver Ziegenbalg) and »Das Weihnachtsschnitzel« (2022, directed by Wolfgang Murnberger). Accolades include: 1998 Theater heute Young Actress of the Year, 2022 German Acting Award.
