Nina Wetzel

Born 1969. Studied set and costume design in Paris. Since 1996 set and costume designer at numerous theatres, such as the Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Münchner Kammerspiele, Residenztheater München, Maxim Gorki Theater, Burgtheater Wien, Schaubühne Berlin, Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne, Wiener Festwochen, Festival d’Avignon, Opéra de Dijon and the Comédie-Française. 
Various collaborations with artists such as Christoph Schlingensief, Alexander Kluge, Schorsch Kamerun, Tom Kühnel, Stefan Pucher, Jan-Christoph Gockel, Thomas Ostermeier, Marius von Mayenburg, Mikaël Serre, Bush Moukarzel & Ben Kidd (Dead Centre) and Thomas Ostermeier. 
Installations and stage designs for productions, performances and actions by Christoph Schlingensief such as »48 Stunden Überleben« (Documenta X, 1996), »Hotel Prora« (Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, 1998), »Chance 2000«, (Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg- Platz, 1998), »7X Installation« (Museum Folkwang, 1999), »Ausländer raus« (Wiener Festwochen, 2000) and »Former West« (HKW, 2013).
