Regine Zimmermann
Born in Grünstadt in 1971. Has been a member of the Schaubühne ensemble from the 2013/14 to the 2016/17 season. Studied acting at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich. From 1997 to 2001 and from 2009 to 2013 engagements at the Maxim Gorki Theater, from 2001 to 2009 at the Deutsches Theater. Worked with directors such as Michael Thalheimer, Nicolas Stemann and Armin Petras. Invitation to the Theatertreffen 2008 with »The Rats« by Gerhart Hauptmann (Direction: Michael Thalheimer) and »Gertrud« by Einar Schleef (Direction: Armin Petras). Roles in several films including »Nowhere in Africa« (Direction: Caroline Link, 2001) and »Before Tomorrow« (Direction: Joachim Schönfeld, 2006). Regine Zimmermann was awarded the Ulrich Wildgruber prize in 2000.
