Anna Gschnitzer

 Born 1986 in Innsbruck and grew up in South Tyrol. Lives and works in Munich. Studied Comparative Literature at the Universität Wien and the Université de Provence Aix-Marseille I and Sprachkunst at the Universität für angewandte Kunst in Vienna. Co-founder of the »theaterkollektiv bureau« and the artist group »Studio Furio«. Her plays have been performed at the Theater Rampe in Stuttgart, the Garage X in Vienna, the Theater unterm Dach in Berlin, the Hamburger Sprechwerk and at Theaterhaus Jena. Her play »Fallen« was honoured with the audience award of the Münchner Förderpreis für deutschsprachige Dramatik, »Einfache Leute« won the audience award of the Heidelberger Stückemarkt 2021.
