Annedore Bauer

Born 1971 in Saarbrücken. Studied theatre at Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. First Engagement at Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf and between 1997-2000 at Theater Freiburg. From 2000-04 she was ensemble member at Staatsschauspiel Dresden. Appearances amongst others as Mette in »Das Fest« based on Thomas Vinterberg (Direction: Michael Thalheimer, 2000, was also invited at Theatertreffen 2001), in »Trümmer des Gewissens« based on Hans Henny Jahnn (Direction: Johann Kresnik, 2002) and as Athene in the Aischylos adaption of »Die Orestie« (Direction: Volker Lösch, 2003). Since 2006 she works as an independent actress amongst others at Staatsschauspiel Dresden and in Berlin.
She cooperated with directors like Roger Vontopel, Sapir Heller, Oliver Frljic and Thomas Birkmeir. She also was part of »Die Liebe zur Leere« written by Martin Heckmanns (Direction: Simone Blattner, 2006) at Schauspiel Frankfurt and »Homohalal« by Ibrahim Amir (Direction: Laura Linnenbaum, 2017) at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. In autumn 2015, her speech about Saxian domestic politics in the context of Volker Lösch's »Graf Öderland/ Wir sind das Volk« attracted national attention at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden.
