Anton Lukas

Born 1971 in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz. He studied in graphic design, interior design, costume and set design with Prof. Andrea Kleber, Dietlinde Calsow and Peter Sykora. Since 2002 he is a freelance set and costume designer. Together with the choreographer Anna Konjetzky he developed sets for dance performances (e. g. »Die Summe der Öffnungen« (2010), »Fern« (2011), »Chipping« (2014)) and designed sets for numerous productions both at big theaters (e. g. Theater Konstanz, Theater Aachen) and in the independent scene. Since 2009 he has been Milo Rau’s / IIPM’s (International Institute of Political Murder) permanent set and costume designer and was responsible for the design of more than 30 of his theater, television and film productions and exhibitions, such as for »Hate Radio« (invitation to the Berliner Theatertreffen 2012), »The Civil Wars« (Kunstenfestivaldesarts Beursschouwburg, 2014), »The Dark Ages« (Residenztheater Munich, 2015) and »The Congo Tribunal« (Sophiensaele Berlin, 2015).
