Bernd Hölscher

Bernd Hölscher

Born  in Münster in 1971. Studied German Philology and History in Würzburg, Münster and Cologne. 1996 - 2000 he studied acting at the Freiburger Schauspielschule. Since the beginning of the 2010/11 season ensemble member at the Staatstheater Kassel. Permanent theatre engagements at the Staatstheater Stuttgart, Nationaltheater Mannheim, Landestheater Detmold, Staatstheater Braunschweig, Theater Dortmund and Volkstheater Rostock. Collaborations with directors such as Laura Linnenbaum, Markus Dietz, Anna Bergmann and Shirin Khodadadian.  Since 2016 increasing appearances in television and cinema productions, including »Radegund« (Direction: Terrence Malick, 2016), »Unter anderen Umständen - Auge um Auge« (Direction: Judith Kennel, 2016) »Der Hauptmann" (Direction: Robert Schwentke, 2017) »Tatort Weimar - Der harte Kern« (Direction: Helena Hufnagel, 2018) and »Der goldene Handschuh« (Direction: Fatih Akin, 2018).
