Cathlen Gawlich

Born 1970 in Thuringia. Since 2004 as a guest and temporarily as a member of the ensemble (2010 to 2013) at Schaubühne. Studied acting at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen »Konrad Wolf« in Potsdam.  From 1991 to 2001 member of the ensemble of Deutsches Theater Berlin and guest engagements at Hans Otto Theater Potsdam, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin and Staatsoper Berlin. Cooperation amongst others with Thomas Langhoff, Anselm Weber, Jürgen Gosch, Volker Kühn, Alexander Lang and Thomas Ostermeier. Role in the movie productions »Nigthshapes« (Director: Andreas Dresen, 1999) and »Emil and the Detectives« (Director: Franziska Buch, 2001) as well as the main role in the RTL series »Die Sitte«. She toured with Bastian Pastewka in 2015 in the live audio play »Paul Temple - und der Fall Gregory« through Germany. In addition, she is also active as speaker in various radio plays, audiobooks and as a dubbing actress in numerous series, among others as Sandy in »Spongebob«, as Rose in »Two and a Half Men«, in several seasons of »American Horror Story« for actress Lily Rose, as Vicky in »Bad Moms«, as Emily in »Odd Couple«, since 2016 as Dr. Linda Martin in »Lucifer« and since 2018 as Ms. Wright in the series »Riverdale«. She gives her voice repeatedly to the german synchronisation of the American film actresses Leslie Bibb (i. a. as Christine Everhart in »Iron Man«, 2008), Jamie King (i.a. as Goldie / Wendy in »Sin City«, 2005) and Elizabeth Banks (i. a. as Effie Trinket in all parts of »The Hunger Games«, 2012 to 2015). Furthermore work on audiobooks i. a. 2017 in »Das Mädchen im Eis« and 2018 in »Night Stalker« by Robert Bryndza.
