Christian Kracht

Born in Saanen (Switzerland) in 1966. Writer, screenwriter and journalist. His novels »Faserland«, »1979«, »I will be here in the Sunshine and in the Shadow«, »Imperium« and »The Dead« have been translated into more than 30 languages. In 2012 he received the Wilhelm Raabe Prize, in 2016 the Swiss Book Prize and the Hermann Hesse Literature Prize.
