Christopher Nell

orn in Kaufbeuren in 1979. Studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock from 2002 to 2006. In 2005 he initially became a member of the Berliner Ensemble ensemble. There, he worked with Claus Peymann, Robert Wilson, Peter Stein, Mona Kraushaar and Manfred Karge, among others. 2011 with Robert Wilson's production »The Life and Death of Marina Abramović« alongside Willem Dafoe, Anthony Hegarty and Marina Abramović guest at the Manchester International Festival. In the following years, freelance work as an actor at Burgtheater Vienna, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Theater Basel and Schauspiel Leipzig. Further collaborations with Robert Wilson at the Théâtre de la Ville Paris and the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. Since 2003 he has also toured with Claudia Graue and Marcus Melzwig as the a cappella trio »Muttis Kinder« in the German-speaking world as well as in Singapore, Taiwan, Canada, the UK, Romania, Greece and Croatia.
