Daniel Freitag

Born in Steinheim (Westf.) in 1986. Studied musicology and media theory in Marburg and Berlin. Several album productions as a songwriter, producer and musician. Has been working as a musician, composer and musical director at various theatres since 2008, first at the Landestheater Marburg, afterwards, since 2010, productions at the Schaubühne Berlin, the Maxim Gorki Theatre, the Grütli Theatre Geneva and the Theatre of Nations in Moscow. Collaboration with directors Thomas Ostermeier, Ivo van Hove and Juliane Kann. Compositions for theatre workshops at the Venice Biennale and the Festival Internationale Neue Dramatik (FIND) at the Schaubühne.
