Daniel Freitag

Daniel Freitag was born in Steinheim (Westphalia) in 1986. He studied musicology and media studies in Marburg and Berlin. Since 2008 he has worked as a musician, composer and musical director at various theaters, including the Schaubühne Berlin, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Münchner Kammerspiele, International Theatre Amsterdam, Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Thalia Theater and Barbican London. Daniel Freitag has worked with directors such as Kornél Mundruczó, Kirill Serebrennikov, Falk Richter, Thomas Ostermeier and Ivo van Hove. He also produces and mixes artists such as Sandra Hüller, Kliffs and PaulaPaula. His second solo album »The Laws Of Attraction« was released in summer 2022.
