Felix Remme

Felix Remme, born in Gera in 1992, studied German and philosophy at the University of Rostock and stage and costume design at the Rostock Design Academy. He interned and assisted at the Maxim Gorki Theater, the Komische Oper Berlin and the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. Felix Remme worked as a set design assistant at the Bayreuth Festspielhaus from 2018 to 2019 and was engaged as a set design assistant at the Schaubühne Berlin from 2019 to 2022, where he realized his first own sets (»Klassenzimmer«, series of talks with Vanessa Vu). From 2022 to 2024 he was a stage design assistant at the Maxim Gorki Theater. He has also been working as a freelance stage and costume designer since 2022, including at Theater Magdeburg (»Bitter Fields«, directed by Lynn Takeo Musiol, Christian Tschirner), at Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin (»Eine Niere hat nichts mit Politik zu tun«, directed by Marina Frenk), at Landesbühnen Sachsen (»Zerbombt”, directed by Monique Hamelmann), at Theater Chemnitz (»Europa flieht nach Europa«, directed by Sandra Maria Huimann) and currently at Schaubühne (»Die Entführung der Amygdala«, directed by Anika Stauch).
