
Florian Borchmeyer
Born in Wasserburg am Inn, studied literature in Berlin, Havana and Paris. In 2006 conferral of a doctorate in philosophy with the graduate thesis about the history of the discovery of America. Bavarian Film Prize 2006 for the documentary movie »Habana - Arte nuevo de hacer ruinas«. From 2011-2013 dramaturg at the Schaubühne, from 2013-1019 head of dramaturgy at the Schaubühne. He curates the Festival Internationale Neue Dramatik (FIND) together with the dramaturgy, works as a filmmaker and literary critic and curates the International Programme at Filmfest München.
