Born 1986 in Irkutsk. From 2008 to 2012 acting and vocal training at the Bayrische Theaterakademie August Everding. During her studies, she was already engaged at the Münchner Kammerspiele for the production »Satan’s Brew« (Direction: Stefan Pucher, 2011), which was nominated for the Nestroy Theatre Prize in 2012 in the category best direction. From 2012 to 2018 member of the ensemble at the Residenztheater München. There cooperation, e. g. with Martin Kušej, Robert Gerloff, David Bösch, Jürgen Kuttner, Marius von Mayenburg, Mateja Koležnik und Dimiter Gotscheff. Since 2018 guest engagements at the Residenztheater München, Burgtheater Wien and the Salzburg Festival. Numerous appearances in film and television, e. g. in »Schlussmacher« (Direction: Matthias Schweighöfer, 2012), various »Tatort« episodes and in the series »Servus Baby« (Direction: Natalie Spinell, 2018). Moreover, singer of the jazz band Genija Rykova & Band with which she has been touring through Germany since 2015. Various awards, e. g. 2012 with the Bayrische Kunstförderpreis, 2016 with the Kurt-Meisel-Förderpreis for young theatre people and 2019 she was honoured as actress of the year by the arts section of the Abendzeitung for her performance as Nora in »A Doll’s House« (Direction: Mateja Koležnik, 2016) and as Vicki in »Noises Off!« (Direction: Martin Kušej, 2018).
