Ingo Günther
Born in Bremen in 1965. Musician, composer, arranger and actor. He studied aesthetic practice and cultural studies at the University of Hildesheim and popular music at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg. Co-founder of the film music band »die paramounts«. Cooperation with directors such as Jarg Pataki, Sebastian Baumgarten, Barbara Weber, Claudia Bauer and Armin Petras at the Schauspiel Leipzig, Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel, Theaterhaus Jena, Nationaltheater Weimar, Schauspiel Magdeburg, Burgtheater Wien, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Maxim-Gorki-Theater und der Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. Collaboration with Herbert Fritsch from 2007 on for the intermedia art project »Hamlet X« and 2010 for the film »Eleven Uncles«, as well as theatrical works at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz such as »The Spanish Fly« by Franz Arnold und Ernst Bach (2011), »Murmel Murmel« after Dieter Roth (2012), »Frau Luna« by Paul Lincke (2013), »Ohne Titel Nr. 1 – Eine Oper von Herbert Fritsch« (2014), »der die mann« after Konrad Bayer (2015) or »Pfusch« by Herbert Fritsch (2016) at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. At the Schauspielhaus Hamburg composer, musician, actor and conductor in Herbert Fritsch’s productions »Die Schule der Frauen« by Molière (2014) and »Die Kassette« by Carl Sternheim (2015). Ingo Günther lives in Berlin.
