Jan Bluthardt

Born in 1978 in Temuco. Studied acting at the Westfälische Schauspielschule Bochum. Already during the study first roles at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, at the Schauspiel Leipzig and at the Städtische Bühnen Münster. From 2006-09 member of the Theater Basel, cooperation here among others with the directors Werner Düggelin, Elias Perrig and Anna Viebrock. From 2009-14 engagement at the Schauspielhaus Zürich, where he played in productions directed by Sebastian Baumgarten, Barbara Frey, Herbert Fritsch, Ruedi Häusermann, Sebastian Nübling, René Pollesch, Stefan Pucher and Clemens Sienknecht. Since the season 2014/15 Jan Bluthardt works as a freelance actor at the Maxim Gorki Theater, at the Volksbühne on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, at the Schaubühne, at the Münchner Kammerspiele, at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and at the Theater Neumarkt in Zurich. In 2017, Bluthardt was seen in »Tatort - Death is our whole life« (Director: Philip Koch).
