Joachim Meyerhoff

Member of the Schaubühne ensemble since the 2019/20 season. Grew up in Schleswig. Studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. Engagements including at the Staatstheater Kassel, Theater Dortmund, Schauspiel Köln and Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. From 2002 to 2005, member of the ensemble at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and from 2005 to 2019 at the Burgtheater in Vienna. Collaborations with Jan Bosse, Herbert Fritsch, Jürgen Gosch and Karin Beier, among others. 2014 Nestroy Theatre Prize and Rolf Mares Award, 2007 and 2017 Theater heute Actor of the Year. Member of the Academy of Arts. Invitation to the 2009 Theatertreffen in Berlin with the solo show »Alle Toten fliegen hoch«, numerous awards for his novel series of the same title. Appearances in films and on television including in »Das Haus der Träume« (2022, directed by Eoin Moore), »Babylon Berlin« (2022, directed by Tom Tykwer, Achim v. Borries, Henk Handloegten) and »Sörensen fängt Feuer« (2022, directed by Bjarne Mädel).
