Jörg Hartmann
Born in 1969 in Hagen. Member of the Schaubühne ensemble from 1999 to 2009 and from 2016 to 2023 and again since 2024. Studied acting at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. Engagements at the Staatstheater in Meiningen and the Nationaltheater in Mannheim. Numerous roles in film and television productions including a Stasi officer in the TV series »Weissensee«, in the feature film »Wilde Maus« (2017, directed by Josef Hader) and, since 2012, as police inspector Peter Faber in the Dortmund »Tatort«. Accolades include: Best Actor at the 2011 German Television Awards, 2015 German TV Crime Drama Award for an outstanding individual performance, 2016 Golden Camera as Best German Actor, 2016 Grimme Award for »Weissensee«. He wrote the screenplay for the Tatort »Du bleibst hier« (2023). His autobiographical novel »Der Lärm des Lebens« was published in 2024
