Kate Strong

Kate Strong was born in London and completed her dance training at the Royal Ballet School. From 1983 to 1994 she worked as a dancer at the Frankfurt Ballet under William Forsythe. After working with Johann Kresnik at the Volksbühne Berlin, she joined the ensemble of Frank Castorf as an actress in 1996. Kate Strong has been a freelance performer since 2002. She was invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen with Karin Henkel's productions of »Macbeth«, »The Rats«, »John Gabriel Borkman« and »Beute Frauen Krieg«, as well as with Ersan Mondtag's »Tyrannis«. She has also performed at the Münchner Kammerspiele, Schauspiel Hamburg, Schauspiel Köln, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Schauspiel Zürich and Theatre Nouveau de Montreuil in Paris.
