Katharina Pia Schütz

Katharina Pia Schütz, born in 1987 in Hamburg, studied scenography at the HFBK Hamburg and fine arts at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris. Since 2015, she has been creating stage spaces for music and drama at Münchner Kammerspiele, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Theater Bremen, Neumarkt Zürich and Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg among others. She also creates stage design for movies and exhibitions. She works closely with Felix Rothenhäusler, Elke von Sivers and Jovana Reisinger. Teaching positions have taken her to the HFBK Hamburg, HCU Hamburg and the ZHDK (Zurich).
