Katharina Schüttler
Member of the ensemble from 2002 to 2007, guest performer at the Schaubühne since 2008. Born in Cologne, she studied acting at the Hanover University of Music and Drama and has had engagements including at the Schauspiel Hannover and Deutsches Theater Berlin. She has worked with Thorsten Lensing, Jan Hein and Stephan Kimmig, among others. Her numerous appearances in film and television productions include roles in »Wunderlich’s World« (2016, directed by Dani Levy), »Ku’damm 56« (2016, directed by Sven Bohse) and »Klassentreffen 1.0« and »Die Hochzeit« (2018 and 2020, both directed by Til Schweiger). She won the German Film Promotion Prize in 2002 as the Best Young Actress, the Theater heute Actress of the Year award in 2006 for »Hedda Gabler«, the Günter Strack Young Talent Prize 2006 and the Ulrich Wildgruber Prize and Bavarian Film Prize in 2009 as Best Young Actress.
