Lena Marie Emrich

Born in Göttingen, lives in Berlin. Studied sculpture at the Weissensee School of Art and Design in Berlin and the »Studio of Spatial Activities« at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Combines performance with documentation and sculpture. Accolades include: Toy Award from the Berlin Masters Foundation in 2020 and the Prize of the Kunstverein Hannover in 2020/21. Solo exhibitions and participation in group exhibitions including at Kunstverein Göttingen, Academy of Arts Berlin, Kunsthal Bergen, Kunstverein Tiergarten Berlin, Bubenberg Paris, Office Impart Berlin, Kunstraum LLC in New York City and Giovanni Bonelli in Milan. Her work is held in collections including the Burger Collection, the Sprengel Museum, Arndt Collection and Marval Collection.
