










Lukas Turtur
Born in 1984 in Munich. Member of the ensemble of the Schaubühne since season 2016/17. From 2005–08 he studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. During his studies, he had first engagements at the Münchner Kammerspiele, e. g. in Stefan Otteni's production »Der Wolf ist tot«, which won the Ensemble Prize of the Bayerische Theatertage and the Schauspielschultreffen in Salzburg in 2007. In 2007 and 2008 he was a guest actor at Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, at the Münchner Kammerspiele and at the Schauspielhaus Zürich. From 2009–11 he worked at the Stadttheater Bern, first as a guest actor and then as part of the ensemble. Various productions with diverse directors, such as Erich Sidler in »Das Käthchen von Heilbronn« by Heinrich von Kleist or Stefan Otteni in »Gruppe junger Hund« based on texts by Händl Klaus. From 2011–2016 he was part of the ensemble at the Residenztheater München, starring in, among others, »Cement« by Heiner Müller (Direction: Dimiter Gotscheff, 2013), »The Cherry Orchard« by Anton Chekhov (Direction: Calixto Bieto, 2012) and »Lehman Brothers. Rise and Fall of a Dynasty «by Stefano Massini (Direction: Marius von Mayenburg, 2016). He played roles in numerous film and television productions, such as in the feature films of Marcus H. Rosenmüller »Best Time« (2007), »Beste Gegend« (2008) and »Räuber Kneißl« (2008), as well as in »Tannöd« (2008) directed by Bettina Oberli. In 2015, he starred in the Austrian feature film »Kater« (Screenplay and direction: Händl Klaus), which premiered in 2016 at Berlinale in the section »Panorama Special« and was awarded the Teddy Award for Best Feature Film. In 2006, he was awarded the O.E. Hasse prize.
