Lukas Turtur

Member of the ensemble from 2016 to 2022, guest performer at the Schaubühne since the 2022/23 season. Born in Munich, he studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. He has had engagements at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Münchner Kammerspiele and Schauspielhaus Zurich. From 2009 to 2011, he was a guest performer and then a member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Bern, and from 2011 to 2016, a member of the ensemble at the Residenztheater in Munich. He has worked with Stefan Otteni, Dimiter Gotscheff, Calixto Bieito, Peeping Tom and Marius von Mayenburg, among others. His appearances in numerous film and television productions include roles in »Kater« (2016, directed by Klaus Händl), »Talking About the Weather« (2022, directed by Annika Pinske) and »Club Zero« (2023, directed by Jessica Hausner). He was awarded the O.E. Hasse Prize in 2006.
