Maryna Klimova
Born in Odesa, Ukraine. After completing her acting studies at the Kharkiv University of Arts, Maryna Klimova started working at the Kharkiv Academic Drama Theatre, from 2011 until 2014, before moving to the Odesa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre from 2014 until 2020. During this period, she also embarked on her career as a film actor starring in films including »Bad Roads« by Natalka Vorozhbyt and »107 Mothers« by Peter Kerekesh. In 2020, she joined Stas Zhyrkov’s ensemble at the Left Bank Theatre in Kyiv. In 2021, Maryna Klimova acted in the »Distant Neighbors: Kyiv-Munich« festival curated by Martín Valdés-Stauber at the Münchner Kammerspiele. She has also worked at Deutsches Theater Berlin with the Ukrainian director Tamara Trunova and has been part of the Münchner Kammerspiele production »Green Corridors«, directed by Jan-Christoph Gockel.
