Mike Winship

Studied at Goldsmiths College, London. Currently works for the Sound & Video department of the National Theatre in London. Here, among other directors, he has created sound designs in collaboration with Nicolas Kent (»Another World – Losing Our Children to Islamic State«, 2016), Bijan Sheibani (»Comedy of Errors« (2015) and »Romeo and Juliet« (2014) by William Shakespeare) and Laurie Sansom (»The Holy Rosenbergs« by Rain Craig, 2011). Here also, as associate sound designer to Gareth Fry, Mike has previously collaborated with Katie Mitchell for »Waves« (2006), »Attempts on Her Life« (2007) and »Pains of Youth« (2009) as well as the German revival of Waves, »Die Wellen« (2011) at the Schauspiel Köln. Other UK work include productions in the West End as well as the Arcola, Tricycle Theatre, Southwark Playhouse and Bush Theatre.
