Oleh Stefan

Guest performer at the Schaubühne since 2022. Born in Kiliya (Ukraine), he is a member of the Left Bank Theatre, Kyiv, and an associate professor at the Academy of Variety and Circus Arts in the same city. He studied acting at the Art Academy in Kharkiv. He has had engagements at the Academic Theatre in Kharkiv and at the Les Kurbas Theatre in Lemberg as well as an internship at the Jerzy Grotowski Workcenter in Pontedera (Italy). From 2000 to 2017, he was a professor at the Ivan Franko National University in Lviv. He has participated in numerous international festivals and projects and has held master classes at universities and theatre companies in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, the UK, Norway and the US. His accolades include the National Taras Shevchenko Award in 2016; in 2019, he received the Honoured Actor of Ukraine award.
