Saskia Göldner
Born in Dresden in 1986. Assistant for stage and costume design at the Schaubühne since the season 2018/19. Studied German and Slavic Studies in Dresden, as well as Central and Eastern European Cultures in Berlin, Moscow and Vienna. From 2006-07 Neue Abendschule at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Dresden. From 2008-13 she was part of the art collective institut für waHre kunst. From 2013-18 she studied stage and costume design at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee. Assistant at the Staatsoper Berlin with Katie Mitchell and Andrea Moses and at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden with Jan Gehler and Simon Solberg. Costume designer for the short films »Kontrolle« (Direction: Manuel Inacker, 2015), »Retropia« (Direction: Manuel Inacker, 2015) and "Pura Vida« (Direction: Manuel Inacker/Kathrin Meier, 2016), as well as stage and costume designer for »Les contes d'Hoffmann« (Direction: David Merz, 2015) at the Hanns Eisler Musikhochschule. From 2015-16 scholarship holder of the Mart-Stam-Foundation.
