Sebastian Schwarz

Sebastian Schwarz

Born in Greiz in 1984. Has been a member of the Schaubühne ensemble since 2008. He studied acting at the »Ernst Busch« Academy of Dramatic Art Berlin. During his studies he appeared in theatre roles such as Jim in »The Glass Menagerie« by Tennessee Williams at the bat-Studiotheater (Direction: Krysztof Minkowsky, 2006) and as Danton in »Danton’s Death« by Georg Büchner at the Deutsches Theater Berlin (Direction: Christoph Mehler, 2007). He has also taken part in various film and television productions, including the films »Polska Love Serenade« (Direction: Monica Anna Wojtyllo, 2007), »Résiste – Aufstand der Praktikanten« (Direction: Jonas Grosch, 2009), »13 Semester« (Direction: Frieder Wittich, 2010), »The Last Lie« (Direction: Jonas Grosch, 2011), »Lichtgestalten« (Direction: Christian Moris Müller, 2013), »Mängelexemplar« (Direction: Laura Lackmann, 2014) and »bestefreunde« (Direction: Jonas Grosch and Carlos Val, 2015) as well as in several television series such as »In Face of the crime« (Direction: Dominik Graf) and »Tatort – Liebe ist kälter als der Tod« (Direction: Florian Schwarz, 2014).
