Simon Lesemann

Born near Hanover, lives and works in Berlin. Studied architecture at Technische Universität Berlin. Stage designer and artistic assistant at various European opera houses and theatres including the Flemish Opera in Antwerp and Ghent, Schauspiel Köln, the Berliner Ensemble, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Hannover, Theater an der Wien and the Belgrade Drama Theatre. Longstanding collaboration with Ersan Mondtag. Solo stage designer at the Maxim Gorki Theater and the Volksbühne Berlin. Since 2019, also set designer for various film productions.
