Stefan Gregory
Born in Sydney in 1978. Studied pure mathematics at the University of Sydney and then jazz at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Played in the Rock n' Roll band Faker from 2005 to 2008 and achieved a platinum single. Since 2008 he has worked as composer and sound designer for theatre and dance. He is a long time collaborator of Simon Stone, and has also worked with Benedict Andrews, John Crowley, Neil Armfield, Anne-Louise Sarks, Eamon Flack, Kip WIlliams, Gideon Obarzanek, Matthew Lutton, Ralph Myers, Angelica Mesiti and for companies such as Salzburg Festival, The Young Vic, Barbican, Theatre Basel, Théâtre de l'Odéon, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Armoury, the Burgtheater in Vienna, the International Theatre Amsterdam, the Sydney Theatre Company and the Belvoir St Theatre. He has also been commissioned by the Australian Ballet and Queensland Opera. His first feature film, »The Dig«, was produced by Netflix.
