Stefan Pinkernell
Born in 1973 in Emsland. Studied Communication Studies, Technical Acoustics, and Musicology.
Sound engineer and, since 2022, head of the sound department at the Schaubühne. Sound design and stage music for, among others, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Salzburg Festival, the Saarland State Theatre, and the theatres in Regensburg, Kiel, Lüneburg, and St. Gallen.
As a sound designer, he has collaborated with directors Falk Richter, Martin Pfaff, Barbara-David Brüesch, Benedict Andrews, and Volker Lösch.
Has released several recordings with the Berlin-based band Trikot.
Keyboard player in the Schaubühne’s late-night band »Les Beamte Uhse«.
Nominated together with Félix Fradet-Faguy for the 2025 Faust Award for their work on »Glaube, Geld, Krieg und Liebe«.
