Stéphane Laimé

Born in La Terté-Bernard in Brittany, France. Completed assistant stage designer placements with Andrea Breth, Luc Bondy, Robert Wilson and Klaus Michael Grüber. Longstanding collaboration with the director Jan Bosse for whom he has designed the sets for all his productions since Bosse’s graduation production in 1997. In addition, collaborations with Stefan Pucher, Thomas Ostermeier, Thomas Dannemann and Johan Simons, among others. Accolades: Nestroy Theatre Prize in 2007 and Opus – German Stage Award in 2008. Voted Theater heute Set Designer of the Year for the set for Stefan Pucher’s production of »Death of a Salesman« in 2011.
