Thomas Bading

Member of the Schaubühne ensemble since 1999. Born in Quedlinburg. Studied acting at the University of Music and Theatre »Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy« in Leipzig. Engagements at the Neues Theater in Halle and Deutsches Theater in Berlin, collaborating with Thomas Langhoff and Jürgen Gosch, among others. Directed his own productions at the Burghofspiele in Eltville. Numerous appearances in films and on television including in »In Times of Fading Light« (2017, directed by Matti Geschonneck), »Girl You Know It’s True« (2023, directed by Simon Verhoeven) and the role of Fritz Bauer in »The German House« (2022, directed by Isa Prahl). Also appearance in the television series »Weissensee« which won »Best Ensemble in a TV Series« at the 2014 German Acting Awards.
