Tilman Strauß
Born in 1982 in Ulm. He initially studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Ulm and from 2006 to 2010 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. From 2009 to 2016, he was a member of the Schaubühne ensemble. He has worked freelance, including at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Maxim Gorki Theater. He has appeared in various films, including »DeAD« (2011), »Wir waren Könige« (2012), and »Berlin« (2014), as well as in the TV production »Tatort – Die Wiederkehr« (2015). In 2009, Tilman Strauß received the Ensemble Award at the Schauspielschultreffen in Zurich and in 2014 was nominated for the German Cinema Promotional Award in the category “Best Actor” for his work in »Wir waren Könige«. Most recently, he has worked, among others, for Tatort.
