Tilman Strauß
He first studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Ulm and then from 2006 to 2010 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. From 2009 to 2016 he was a member of the ensemble at the Schaubühne. Afterwards he worked as a freelance actor, including at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Maxim Gorki Theater. He also appeared in several film productions, including »DeAD« (2011), »Wir waren Könige« (2012) and »Berlin« (2014), as well as in the TV production »Tatort – Die Wiederkehr« (2015). In 2009 Tilman Strauß received the Ensemble Award at the Schauspielschultreffen in Zurich, and in 2014 he was nominated for the Förderpreis Deutsches Kino in the category »Best Actor« for his work in »Wir waren Könige«.
