Ulla Willis
Born in 1989, studied philosophy and literature at the University of Würzburg and interior design with a focus on scenography at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle. During her studies, she worked as a freelance set designer and scenographer and completed internships in the department stage design at the Theaterwerkstatt Würzburg and at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz. Since the 2020/21 season, she has been a permanent assistant set designer at the Schaubühne Berlin where she has worked with Jan Pappelbaum, Stéphane Laimé, Magda Willi and Natasha Jenkins, among others. First works as a stage designer for the staged reading »DRAGÓN« (Schaubühne, 2021) and for the theatre-educational project »stolpern« (Schaubühne/Piccolo Theater Cottbus, 2022, invited to the Bundestreffen Jugendclubs an Theatern 2022 in Weimar).
