



















Veronika Bachfischer
Born in Augsburg in 1985. Member of the ensemble at the Schaubühne since season 2016/17. From 2006–08 she studied philosophy at the University of Vienna. From 2008–12 she studied acting at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen. During her studies, she had first engagements at e. g. Schauspielhaus Bochum (»Parzival« by Lukas Bärfuss, direction: Martina von Boxen, 2011) and at the Ruhrtriennale (»Gisela! Oder die merk- und denkwürdigen Wege des Glücks« by Hans Werner Henze, direction: Pierre Audi, 2010). From 2014–16 she was engaged at the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, after having been part of the ensemble of the Junges Staatstheater from 2012-14. Cooperations e. g. with Jan Philipp Gloger (»Schatten (Eurydice says)« by Elfriede Jelinek, 2015), Hans-Werner Kroesinger (»Stolpersteine Staatstheater«, 2016, invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen 2016), Avishai Milstein (»Love hurts«, 2015, co-production with the Beit Lessin Theater Tel Aviv), Mina Salehpour (»The Camel without a Cusp«, 2013) and Patrick Wengenroth (»Men's Fantasies«, 2013). In 2016 she received the Goldenen Fächer, the young talent award of the Kunst- und Theatergemeinde Karlsruhe.
