Ville Haimala
Born in 1981 in Espoo, Finland, Ville Haimala is a Berlin-based artist and composer. His career is highlighted by performances and recordings at world-renowned venues including Berlin's Volksbühne and New York's MoMA PS1, predominantly with his group, Amnesia Scanner. Haimala is also recognized for his collaborative works with artists such as Anne Imhof, crafting scores for exhibitions and performances at institutions including the Tate Modern, Palais de Tokyo, and Stedelijk Museum. Furthermore, he has composed music for theater productions at venues such as Münchner Kammerspiele, Theater Bremen, and Staatsoper Stuttgart.
