Following the sudden end of its long-standing funding, the future of the discussion series remains uncertain. The Schaubühne is doing everything it can to preserve the format in the long term. Until new funding can be secured, Streitraum will have to take a break. On 25 October, a final, improvised edition will therefore take place for the time being. Carolin Emcke will speak about hope in hopeless times, exploring what we can hold on to when so much becomes uncertain, and why it is precisely at such moments that it is important to engage in conversation with one another.
